New Hospitality POS Installation for Delaney’s Bar, Cootehill, Co. Cavan
Astec POS Ltd recently completed a new hospitality POS system installation for Delaney’s Bar, owned by Eamonn Delaney, located on Main Street, Cootehill, Co. Cavan.
Delaney’s Bar is a well-established local pub serving beer, wine, and spirits to regular customers, locals, and visitors to the town. The venue is also known for its live music, welcoming both local musicians and popular bands. With a lively atmosphere and busy service periods, the business required a reliable and easy-to-use POS system that could support fast service while providing clear oversight of sales and stock.

For this installation, Astec POS supplied and installed two Apexa Touch Screen Systems, running ICR Touch Hospitality Software, along with an Aurus receipt printer, cash drawer, and UPS backup system.
Each system was fully customised to reflect the products sold in the bar, helping to ensure fast, accurate transactions and a smooth experience for both staff and customers.

- Stock control and sales reporting, providing clear visibility of performance and inventory
- Customised receipt printing, including customer logo branding
- Branded screen graphics, tailored to reflect the bar’s identity

- Touch screen functionality, making the system quick and intuitive to use behind the bar
Full on-site training was provided to ensure staff were confident using the system from the outset. Ongoing telephone and online support is also available, offering reassurance that help is always available when needed.
