Sean & Anita Kelly are the proud oweners of The Jockey’s, a family run Bar and Restaurant at the corner of Ann’e Street, Dundalk, Co. Louth. Renowned for both its quality food and friendly relaxed atmosphere, its extensive menu has a a variety of food, always to a very high standard and with generous portions to safisfy even the largest appetite.

Steeped in local history the Jockey’s Bar dates back to 1799 when it is said to have been opened by Lord Roden,  it’s name was later changed to The Inn and finally to The Jockeys as a tribute to renowned jockey and then owner Ted Fitzpatrick.

Selected as a finalist in ‘The Louth Business Awards 2015′  in  ‘The Best Bar category’  and proud reciprient of  1st prize in The Best Presented Public House category in ‘ the Dundalk Improve Our Town 2015 Awards‘  the Jockey’s Bar is  popular with both the young and not so young and is a regular haunt for music lovers on Friday nights with its traditional Irish music sessions.

While the ‘Jockey’s Bar ‘ has been in business for over 200 years their Point of Sale system is right up to date with the latest ICR Touch Point Software and Sam4s Titan Touch Screen Hardware with Sam4s Giant Receipt Printer, all of which have been customised and installed by Astec P.O.S. Monaghan.
