Monte Carlo Takeaway, Glaslough St., Co. Monaghan scoop an award for Takeaway of the Year 2016

Anyone who lives in Monaghan knows that we are very fortunate to have some of the best restaurants and takeaways in Ireland so when in early November this year The Monte Carlo in Glaslough, Street Monaghan learned that they were listed as finalists in the Takeaway of the Year catagory by The Food Awards Ireland we were all quite naturally delighted that one of our local business was getting the recognition that it deserved.

We were even more delighted when we found out that The Monte Carlo won the Award for the Best Takeaway in Ireland 2016 and after picking up their award at the end of November staff and management shared their elation and celebrated by giving away €30 vouchers to their customers.

Since opening in 1970’s The Monte Carlo has been serving the best in fish&chips, burgers, milkshakes and ice-creams and have a wide selection of sides and sauces to add that something extra to excite your taste buds.
